Prior to founding Veatrium, he held leadership roles within the hospitality and entertainment industries, overseeing hotel operations and managing large-scale venues including restaurants, entertainment centers.
Earlier in his career, Jean Carlo was involved in his family’s business in logistics, shipbuilding, and oil-related operations, where he gained hands-on experience in supply chain coordination, industrial operations, and international business management.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, he works seamlessly across international clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams. With more than 15 years of professional experience, Jean Carlo has built a reputation for disciplined execution, strategic oversight, and refined project delivery.
As Co-Founder and Chief Engineer of Veatrium, Ivan oversees high-end residential construction projects throughout South Florida, bringing a strong technical foundation, hands-on leadership style, and deep understanding of construction management to every project. His expertise spans structural coordination, project execution, permitting, and field operations, with a commitment to delivering refined spaces with precision, efficiency, and exceptional attention to detail.
He is a Civil Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in construction, project management, and business operations across Venezuela and the United States. Ivan holds General Contractor, Pool Contractor, and Plumbing Contractor licenses in the state of Florida. Throughout his career, Ivan has led and managed projects spanning the energy, commercial, and high-end residential sectors. His early professional experience included roles with Texaco and Telcel before founding Vangil Ingenieros CA, a construction company he directed in Caracas for over a decade. After relocating to Miami, he served as President of Gilvan Development, further expanding his expertise in luxury residential construction and project execution.
As Co-Founder and Project Manager, Mikel oversees the coordination and day-to-day management of the firm’s high-end residential and commercial projects throughout South Florida. His responsibilities include supervising project schedules, budgeting, procurement, contractor coordination, consultant communication, and overall project execution to ensure each project is delivered with efficiency, precision, and exceptional quality standards.
Mikel has extensive experience in luxury residential construction, project coordination, concierge services, and design-focused client management. With a background in communication and a strong understanding of both operational execution and interior design, he brings a highly organized, client-centered approach to every project.
In addition to his operational role, Mikel actively collaborates within interior designers assisting with material selections, finishes, space planning, furniture coordination, and aesthetic direction. His ability to bridge construction management with the creative aspects of design allows Veatrium to maintain a seamless and highly curated project experience for both clients and design partners.
